What Uniforms Are Required for Camp?

All California Junior Lifeguards participants are required to wear the official uniform for safety, identification, and a sense of teamwork.

Uniform Requirements:

Junior Guards & Mini Junior Guards:

  • Official red swimsuits (one-piece for girls, jammers or trunks for boys)
  • Official rash guard (red or white)
  • Junior Guards hat (recommended for sun protection)
  • Sunscreen, towel, and water bottle (not provided but highly recommended)

Back Bay & Stand Up Paddle Programs:

  • Official rash guard (red or white)
  • Comfortable board shorts or swimsuit
  • Junior Guards hat (recommended for sun protection)

Where to Get Your Uniform

Uniforms can be purchased online, at tryouts, or at the camp itself.
